APPROVAL OF THE AGREEMENT BETWEEN A+ IN HOME TUTORING, INC. AND THE SCHOOL BOARD OF SARASOTA COUNTY TO PROVIDE SUPPLEMENTAL EDUCATION SERVICES (SES)
Description
A+ In Home Tutoring, Inc., will provide individual or small group tutoring services to eligible students in Title I Schools not meeting AYP. Tutoring will take place on-site (schools) or off-site (in-home, library, church, community center) for no less than 1 hour per session.
Recommendation
That the School Board of Sarasota County approve the agreement with A+ In Home Tutoring, Inc., to provide SES tutorial services.

Financial Impact
Sessions are paid at an hourly rate of $65.00 not to exceed $1122.00 per student for the duration of the agreement. The provider is paid from Title I Funds as stipulated in No Child Left Behind.
***The Title I SES Tutoring Program is currently in its set up phase, based on DOE Approved Sarasota Provider List and enrollment/eligibility mailings to parents. Once the providers have obtained executed agreements with parents and district, 310 contracts will be generated based on the provider's hourly rate and number of students with completed agreements.
